Edward Stewart has 22 years of experience in the gas turbine power and liquefied natural gas industry including roles as project manager, power plant sales manager, (in the U.S. and Asia), and LNG project development.  Prior to joining Axford Turbine Consultants, LLC, Stewart spent much of his career working for the gas turbine products division of Stewart & Stevenson Services, Inc., as a project manager and later moved into international gas turbine power plant sales.  Stewart lived in Tokyo, Japan and Hong Kong for four years selling LM power plants and managing a joint venture between Stewart & Stevenson and the Sumitomo Corporation for sales and service of LM power plants in Japan.  In February, 1998, GE purchased the gas turbine business from Stewart & Stevenson.  As a GE employee, Stewart returned to Houston, Texas where he continued selling LM gas turbine power plants under Mark Axford.  Stewart than traveled to Shanghai, China, in 2004 to help hire, train, and familiarize the GE Energy China sales team on LM gas turbine power plants.  Upon returning to the United States in 2005, Stewart worked with the GE Energy Marketing Division with the primary focus of increasing global customer awareness and value propositions for the entire GE LM product line including LM2500, LM6000, and LMS100.  Stewart departed GE in 2006 and joined 4Gas, an LNG terminal developer and operator, owned by Riverstone Holdings.  Stewart worked in the 4Gas development group assessing potential LNG asset acquisitions and development opportunities in the U.S. and Canada.

Stewart received his Bachelor's Degree from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas, in 1986 and later earned his Master's of Business Administration Degree from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas, in 2001 while working at GE.  Stewart enjoys the gas turbine power plant business and helping customers find the solution that fits their project or specific equipment requirements.  Stewart and his wife, Barbara, have been married for 15 years and reside in their native, home town of Houston, Texas.
